I’ve been trying to figure out whats wrong with me for most my life.

A few years ago I watched someone I knew go through some deep changes. Almost seemed unbelievable, and I knew whatever they were doing, I needed to be doing. It’s crazy to think back because the process does not look like what I expected. I was shown what real strength is. AB helped me learn how to live in the present moment. To stop listening to a never ending cycle of intrusive thought through meditation, philosophy, martial arts, and even yoga. It brought me out of the darkest time in my life.

Nothings what it seems. Especially not strength. Strength isn’t about how loud you can be, it’s how much you can endure and stay quiet. And still win. That’s what all this with AB has taught me.

Brother I have never seen you admit your vulnerabilities like this, you look strong as fuck. I don’t think you really fully understand yourself yet but when you figure it out it’s all gonna come together

Alan Belcher has been an instrumental mentor in transforming both my business and my mindset. When I started working with him, my business was generating around £4,000 per month.

Through his expert knowledge in marketing and growth strategies, my business has now surpassed six figures.

However, Alan's impact goes far beyond just financial growth. His approach to mental strength and mindset coaching has been invaluable.

Alan helped me recognize my own worth and guided me through overcoming imposter syndrome, which was holding me back for years. His teachings have opened my eyes to what I’m capable of, and today, I handle challenges with confidence and self-belief.

I am mentally stronger and my business is thriving as a result of Alan’s mentorship.

Thank you, Alan, for everything you’ve done to help me succeed.

It’s taken many years, but AB helped me cut through the noise and find clarity in my training and competition. I was a kid when I met Alan belcher. I now understand my strengths, weaknesses, and motivations, and I know exactly how to harness them for success.

Alan’s mental performance coaching has given me the edge I needed to dominate in the heavyweight division. I'm more focused, more driven, and more confident than ever.

Jim Davis

A career in the fire service, is one of many ups and downs. After 28 years as a professional firefighter, I was carrying a great deal of stress trauma.  I assumed that leaving the job would cure all, but I could not have been more wrong.

The first few months were very confusing. I felt I had lost my identity and basically went into hiding. Out of nowhere, Alan Belcher reached out to me, it’s like he knew I needed him. He very slowly and methodically introduced me into his system of beliefs and lifestyle, utilizing the 4 pillars.

This system helped me find myself again, giving me real purpose.  I have grown as a husband, father and overall human.  Alan Belcher has been an absolute blessing to me and my entire family.  There are simply not enough words to describe what he has done for me.

I feel alive again, I feel whole, but not complete, because he has taught me to strive to be better each and every day

Frequently asked questions

What is the Modern Warrior’s Rite of Passage?

The Modern Warrior’s Rite of Passage is an immersive multi-day retreat designed to help men unlock their full potential—physically, mentally, and emotionally. It combines martial arts training with personal development, focusing on discipline, emotional resilience, and building a purpose-driven life through Alan Belcher’s Four Pillars.

Do I need martial arts experience to attend?

Yes, we recommend several years of martial arts training. Participants should be comfortable sparring and grappling, as the retreat involves advanced MMA techniques and intense physical challenges that require a solid foundation of experience.

What are the Four Pillars?

The Four Pillars are the core of the retreat:

  • Monk Mode: Focuses on mental discipline and clearing distractions.
  • Male Initiation: Helps break old patterns and build a stronger identity.
  • Vision Quest: Guides participants through deep self-reflection to uncover their purpose.
  • Brotherhood: Emphasizes the importance of community and mutual support for personal growth.

Who leads the retreat?

The retreat is led by Alan Belcher, a veteran MMA fighter with years of experience in UFC and Bare-Knuckle Fighting. Alan has developed this program based on his Four Pillars philosophy, which has helped countless men, including professional fighters, improve not only their physical abilities but their overall mindset and purpose in life.

Will I have time for personal reflection?

Absolutely. Personal reflection is a key part of the retreat. During the Vision Quest portion, you’ll have dedicated time for introspection and self-exploration. This is a crucial opportunity to align with your highest purpose and take what you’ve learned in training to a deeper level.

What can I expect during the retreat?

You can expect a combination of intense physical training, mental exercises, self-reflection, and bonding with like-minded men. Each day integrates martial arts, cold therapy, breathwork, and group discussions. The retreat is designed to push you out of your comfort zone and help you grow in all aspects of life.

How long is the retreat, and what is the daily schedule like?

The retreat lasts for 6 days. The first 5 days are packed with activities, including early morning cold plunges, MMA training, breathwork, and evening campfire discussions. The final day is reserved for packing up and heading home, giving you time to reflect on the journey and prepare to apply the lessons learned in your everyday life.

How is this retreat different from other martial arts programs?

Unlike most programs that focus solely on physical training or quick motivational boosts, the Modern Warrior’s Rite of Passage takes a holistic approach. It’s not just about learning to fight—it’s about developing mental resilience, emotional control, and building a support network through brotherhood. The retreat provides long-lasting transformation in all areas of life.

What should I bring to the retreat?

We recommend bringing comfortable athletic clothing for training, swimwear for cold therapy, and a journal for self-reflection. All necessary training equipment and safety gear will be provided. Additionally, you’ll want to bring a sense of commitment and openness to embrace the challenges ahead.

What happens after the retreat?

The journey doesn’t end when the retreat is over. You’ll leave with practical tools, new habits, and a support system that will continue to push you toward growth. Many participants stay connected with their brothers from the retreat, fostering accountability and ongoing personal development.
